Taj Mahal, the multi-GRAMMY AWARD®-winning blues singer-songwriter-composer, has been added to remaining dates alongside Warren Haynes, Dr. John, Jamey Johnson and Don Was on the second leg of the 2017 “LAST WALTZ 40 TOUR.” Taj will be playing Orpheum Theatre on April 13 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Band’s historical farewell concert.
Taj Mahal, the two-time GRAMMY AWARD®-winning singer-songwriter-composer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist was recently feted with the Lifetime Achievement for Performance Award at the Americana Honors and Awards after decades of recording and touring that reshaped the definition and scope of the blues via the infusion of exotic sounds from the Caribbean, Africa and South Pacific.
